Transit systems are becoming more bike-friendly every year. The Bay Area Rapid Transit District permits bikes on board at all times, and provides thousands of bike parking spaces, while other transit districts fall behind. Southern California systems are catching up, thanks to forward-thinking leaders and effective advocacy. This session will discuss best practices in advocating for and implementing bicycle/transit integration.
